Mayor's Charity Night - Sounds of the 70s at Armstrongs Social!

Put on your flares, step into your platform boots and join the Mayor of Beverley for a charity night of 70s music!

Taking place on Friday 11th October at Armstrongs Social Club, the evening will raise funds for the Beverley Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade.  At just £5 a ticket (over 18s only), the evening will feature live 70s music from GlamStarr – relive the tunes of T-Rex, Abba, Suzy Q, Blondie, the Osmonds and more!

Cllr Duncan Jack, the Mayor of Beverley, hopes it will be a popular event: “The Church Lads and Girls Brigade is a brilliant local organisation.  All the volunteers and young people involved are a credit to the town and it will be wonderful to raise some money for their coffers.  It’s also great to be holding this event at Armstrongs, which is always at the heart of the community... so boogie on down and step back in time to the 1970s for a night of great music, all in the name of a good cause!”

Doors open 7pm for a 7:30pm start and you can dance the night away until midnight.  Tickets are available from Armstrongs Social Club, Grovehill Road, Beverley, HU17 0ED  - for more information call 01482 882999.
