Cottingham-based charity R-evolution is running a funded numeracy workshop in the East Riding area, aimed at individuals over 19 years of age who do not possess a GCSE grade 4 or level C qualification.
The workshop, lasting for two hours, focuses on numeracy skills through a unique and engaging approach – cycle repairs. They believe that combining practical skills with essential numeracy education can empower individuals and open new avenues for personal and professional growth.
To encourage participation, R-evolution are offering a complimentary refurbished cycle to each participant upon the successful completion of the workshop. This initiative aims to not only enhance numeracy skills but also promote sustainable transportation and well-being within the community.
